LEXUS OF AKRON-CANTON needs Sales Consultants. A willingness to learn, an outgoing, people-pleasing personality and a desire to make excellent money are vital. We have experienced sales managers onboard who will train you the right way and make sure you’re successful. Earnings in the first year range from 40K to 60K and some of our salespeople earn much more with growth. We have a guaranteed salary that doesn’t end at training, paid vacation, great commission structure, friendly co-workers and a gorgeous place to work! You’ll have an assigned 5-day schedule.  EOE M/V/F/D.

Essential Responsibilities and Authority

  1. Sell vehicles and financial services offered by the dealership.
  2. Meet and exceed sales goals.  Follow sales policies and procedures.
  3. Develop a thorough knowledge of Lexus products and services, KW #1, inventory of vehicles, and competitive vehicles and services.

Generate/Manage   daily work plan.  Focus on   appointments, prospects, deliveries, and follow-up calls to new customers/and existing customers. Manage customer/prospect base through CRM.  Forecast monthly sales.

Greet prospects   and customers.  Establish a  professional relationship immediately.    Treat prospects as individuals who because of their level of income,   status, or interest in exceptional automobiles will consider or buy new or   pre-owned Lexus products.  Represent   their interests.

Identify and focus on each prospect’s professed needs.

Guide prospects   through the sales process.  Use non-adversarial and non-manipulative sales techniques. Make the sales process   pleasant, positive, and enjoyable regardless of whether prospects buy or not. 

Present and demonstrate vehicles; explain all dealership services to prospects, introduce   customer to service center facility.

Negotiate and close sales.

Introduce customer to manager during visit to dealership.

Arrange for the delivery of new vehicles. Include extras with every delivery.

Exceed national customer satisfaction goals. Provide exceptional service to customers from their entry into KW #1 until their receipt of purchased vehicles. Solve customer problems. Follow-up sales. Track customer satisfaction.

Work closely with other departments to ensure harmonious and productive operations and maximize the success of KW #1.

Fully coordinate and communicate actions within Metro Lexus or Lexus of Akron-Canton.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Has a valid driver’s license.  Is legally able to work in theUnited States.  Holds an Ohio Sales License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
