LEXUS of AKRON/CANTON needs an experienced automotive Parts Manager to join and lead our Parts team. This is a management level role so we are looking for someone with at least 5-8 years of automotive Parts Manager experience. This person must be a team player and have the dealership’s best interest in mind. 

JOB SUMMARY

The Parts Manager under the leadership of the GM will support the process to satisfy customer demands for Lexus and other vehicles by providing parts and services to customers that will exceed their expectations.  The Manager will 1) operate a profitable, state-of-the art parts department to supply parts to the Service Department, the Body Shop, and outside customers, 2) develop and maintain excellent business relations with customers, and 3) ensure that associates work productively and safely.  The Manager also will take action to enhance cross-functional coordination, expand internal communications, and develop the parts department associates at Lexus of Akron/Canton.  Must be able to work evenings and a Saturday rotation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need.
  • Supervises stock order procedures.
  • Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
  • Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas.
  • Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
  • Ensure that all employees follow their assigned work schedules.
  • Enforce safety requirements.
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
