METRO LEXUS needs Internet Sales team members immediately. An Internet Sales team member contacts potential customers from definite internet leads. There is no cold calling, ever. This job requires monitoring internet leads, responding to them and following up with people who are interested in buying a vehicle listed on our web sites. Other duties include converting internet leads to sales appointments, confirming and rescheduling missed appointments and asking callers open-ended questions to determine how to earn their business. $30-36K base salary plus generous commission percentage on vehicles sold from an internet lead. Schedule is M 12-8, T 11-7, W 11-7, Th 12-8, Friday off, Sat. 9-5. Qualifications are high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Internet Sales Specialist manages the online sales conducted through our website. The Internet Sales Specialist acts as the frontline brand manager by interacting with customers and fans in real time on various web platforms. The Internet Sales Specialist works with Internet leads and acts as a liaison across the Internet; participating in minute-by-minute online conversations by answering questions, offering solutions and creating content for feeds and sparking discussions on various social media web sites. The Internet Specialist may at times assist customers in the showroom.

 

Essential Functions

Listing of essential function (In order of importance)

 

  1. Managing Internet sales leads, responding to inquiries in a timely fashion and answering questions on available stock and Lexus product performance.
  2. Responding to live chat requests, sometimes after business hours. Bonus for every internet lead that results in a sold vehicle.
  3. Scheduling appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles.
  4. Disclosing terms of sales with consumers and reviewing sales with dealership management.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.  Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).

 

When Travel Required

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  The job requires significant domestic travel (up to 50% of the time).  As a result, the duties for this position occur in various places including, but not limited to an office environment, car dealerships, and semi-industrial settings.  The associate will regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.  The noise level for this position will vary and the associate may be exposed to loud noise levels.
