PARTS ASSISTANT - LEXUS OF AKRON-CANTON

LEXUS OF AKRON-CANTON needs a Parts Assistant immediately. We provide a excellent pay plan (good salary + generous bonus), supportive management and a great place to work in a convenient location. Qualified candidates must have 1-2 years’ experience, high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background check, hair follicle drug screen going back six months, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Job Description

 Major Responsibilities:

• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
• Notify all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.
• Pull orders for delivery to shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ related auto dealership experience
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• ADP experience a definite plus
• Computer & phone skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
