Assistant Service Manager  - Toyota of Greensburg  (Full Time)

Toyota of Greensburg is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to assist the Service Manager with leading our Service Advisors and Reconditioning Department.  We provide a highly competitive compensation plan based on experience, along with the security of being a part of an established team with supportive management and a dynamite brand.

Job Duties:

  • Lead, motivate, reward, and develop service department team members. 
  • Work closely with management and other departments to ensure harmonious and productive operations and maximize the success of Toyota of Greensburg.
  • Assist with managing a profitable, safe, and efficient state-of-the-art service department.  
  • Assist with developing plans to increase revenue, track labor costs, minimize overtime and ensure associates work productively.
  • Greet customers when they arrive and receive the vehicle information. After the appointment the next service appointment should be scheduled.
  • Clearly explain any repair order information to the customer and readily take in the requests of the customer for specific services desired.
  • Confirm the service repairs by test driving the vehicle and referring specific technicians to the customer.
  • Estimating both time for repair and cost, while doing this they should also consider the schedule of the customer.
  • Maintaining high standards through the handling of customer complaints.
  • Ensure maintenance of all files required to meet and/or exceed government and factory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers. Ensure associates solve customer problems. Personally handle major problems. Track customer satisfaction.
  • Support team member training and recognition.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining comeback and repeat repair processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 5 to 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior customer interaction skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and apply constant new information to daily tasks.
  • Adhere to compliance standards.
  • All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, and valid driver license.
