Accounting & Inventory Clerk - Lexus of Las Vegas & Lexus of Henderson

Performing cross functional accounting activities in a family-oriented dealership atmosphere.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform accounting functions such as inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and some title work.
  2. Verify and reconcile invoices to payments, deposits, and credit card transactions.
  3. Reconcile and maintain schedules and GL (General Ledger) accounts as assigned.
  4. Inputting heavy data entry.

Skills/Qualifications

  1. Good administration and coordination skills.
  2. Intermediate accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions.
  3. Good computer skills (working knowledge of dealership computer systems preferred).
  4. Excellent 10-key skills.
  5. Communicates effectively – orally and in writing.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Dealership accounting experience preferred.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and and apply constant new information to daily tasks.
  • Adhere to compliance standards.
  • All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, credit report, and a valid driver license.

Compensation

$13/hour

40 hours weekly/full time with month end closing requiring overtime (the first week of the month)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
